Responsibilities

*This is a HYBRID role
Main Responsibilities:

Design and Develop Scalable Cloud-Native Applications

  • Architect and build secure, high-performance applications using Java (Spring Boot) and Python, optimized for AWS cloud environments.
  • Prioritize modularity, maintainability, and scalability in all development efforts.

Lead Cloud Migration and Modernization Initiatives

  • Strategically plan and execute the migration of legacy applications to AWS.
  • Refactor or redesign applications to leverage cloud-native services (e.g., Lambda, ECS, S3, Redshift).

Implement Secure Data Handling Practices

  • Integrate data encryption and decryption mechanisms across applications.
  • Ensure compliance with security standards and protect sensitive data in transit and at rest.

Drive DevOps and CI/CD Integration

  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or AWS CodePipeline.
  • Automate testing, deployment, and monitoring to support agile delivery cycles.

Provide Technical Leadership and Mentorship

  • Guide development teams through code reviews, architectural decisions, and best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering culture.

Develop and Maintain Shell Scripts for Automation

  • Use Linux shell scripting to automate system tasks, deployments, and monitoring processes.
  • Troubleshoot and optimize server-side operations.

Perform Database and Analytical Operations

  • Write and optimize SQL queries for relational databases and support data warehousing efforts.
  • Apply analytical thinking to solve complex technical problems and improve system performance.
