The pay range is $92,000.00 - $166,000.00
Pay is based on several factors which vary based on position. These include labor markets and in some instances may include education, work experience and certifications. A role within Corporate Security means protecting our Target community by managing physical security risks that have the potential to impact our team members, guests, and operations. Here, you may support our mission by generating intelligence & awareness, ensuring protective security, providing incident response, or guiding recovery & continuity procedures in the event of incidents or crises.

The Executive Services Lead Consultant is responsible for delivering executive protection and support services that ensure the safety, productivity, and privacy of the CEO, executive leadership team, and board of directors. The Lead Consultant designs, implements, and oversees comprehensive security programs, processes, and strategies, while maintaining the tools and resources required for effective execution. By building strong relationships with key stakeholders, the Lead Consultant drives continuous improvement and proactively identifies opportunities to enhance the program and manage security risks.

  • Utilize security risk management to ensure the safety, productivity, and privacy of the CEO and executive leadership team
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage risks with potential to adversely impact executive leadership or significant corporate events
  • Serve as executive security risk subject matter expert, advocate for appropriate, balanced, and reasonable risk mitigation strategies
  • Create, document, and implement routine and threat-based logistical and safety plans
  • Deliver relevant safety and logistical information and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Lead projects within team; participates in projects across Corporate Security
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams and builds and maintains strong partnerships with key internal and external partners
  • Maintain and publish up-to-date business support calendar
  • Conduct investigations, risk assessments, and manage executive related threats
  • Assist with the development and updates of policies and procedures; work within policies and procedures to maintain productive business operations
  • Obtain third party security services as required and manage relationship with vendors that support executive leadership
  • Provide executive security at headquarters through proactive monitoring, executive floor staffing, and coordinating with onsite security teams
  • Perform comprehensive residential security assessments utilizing CPTED strategies
  • Respond to medical emergencies and coordinate with medical director and emergency medical services personnel
  • Travel extensively domestically and internationally
  • Achieve and maintain advanced training and certifications in areas including protective operations, medical response, firearms, use-of-force, and protective driving
  • Maintain a high level of physical fitness and professional appearance

DESIRED REQUIREMENTS

  • Master’s degree / MBA
  • Paramedic certification
    This position will operate as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. A Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement means the team member’s core role will need to be performed both onsite at the Target HQ MN location the role is assigned to and virtually, depending upon what your role, team and tasks require for that day.
