Description

Responsible for all stages of the contract process for the team from the initial draft through execution Handles any internal/external escalations and escalate to senior manager when necessary Advisor to internal partners including business, credit and operations teams to ensure that those partners are adequately advised on the terms of agreements being negotiated and the impact of external counterparty's requested terms. Reliable partner to various internal operational and business teams in relation to the support of the firm's global platinum client relationships. Continuously stay informed of regulatory changes, new regulations, internal policy changes and developments in the law 5-8 years of relevant industry experience, preferably in financial services Banking or financial industry experience, including laws related to banking regulations Knowledge of international laws, regulations and practices while staying abreast of regulatory and legal environment, internal policies and industry trends that impact the business Experience with complex deals, demonstrated ability to analyze issues and develop legal solutions Effective communication and negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain trusted relationships Excellent interpersonal, organizational and relationship management skills Proven ability to apply sound judgement while managing assignments in a demanding, fast-paced environment Well-developed understanding of the ISDA Master Agreement and related supporting documentation Juris Doctorate or equivalent law degree Bar license in good standing to practice law ------------------------------------------------------ For complementary skills, please see above and/or contact the recruiter. ------------------------------------------------------ Anticipated Posting Close Date: Jan 15, 2026 ------------------------------------------------------
