Since its inception in 1980, Hudson Behavioral Health has been providing cutting edge treatment for Substance Use and other co-occurring disorders. Our services include Detoxification, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Partial Hospitalization, Treatment, 3.1 Housing, and Outpatient Services. CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain a reduced caseload, providing individual, group, and family counseling in accordance with program standards, as needed. Conduct assessments, develop and update individualized treatment plans, and document progress and discharge planning in compliance with regulatory and agency requirements. Ensure that all clinical interventions are trauma-informed, evidence-based, and consistent with best practices in SUD treatment. Provide clinical consultation and intervention for complex cases, in collaboration with the Clinical Director as needed. SUPERVISION & TEAM LEADERSHIP Directly supervise counseling staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback to ensure high-quality service delivery and adherence to agency, regulatory, and accreditation standards. Lead interdisciplinary team meetings, case reviews, and staff huddles to ensure consistent communication, coordinated care, and treatment plan alignment across disciplines. Facilitate timely resolution of patient concerns and complaints in accordance with agency policies, ensuring consultation with the Clinical Director or Compliance Director when required. Oversee staff compliance with clinical documentation, program protocols, and ethical/professional standards, consulting with the Clinical Director for guidance on complex clinical or regulatory issues. Support staff development through coaching, training, and corrective action as appropriate. PROGRAM OVERSIGHT & SCHEDULING Develop and maintain group therapy schedules to ensure adequate coverage, variety, and consistent implementation of evidence-based curricula for the counseling team. Coordinate staff schedules, coverage for absences, and caseload assignments to maintain continuity of care and program operations. Participate in program planning, quality improvement initiatives, and audits, collaborating with the Clinical Director to align counseling services with overall program goals. ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES Approve and submit staff timesheets, schedules, and related documentation in accordance with agency policy. Assist with onboarding, orientation, and training of new counseling staff and interns. Serve as a liaison between counseling staff and program leadership, communicating operational updates, clinical trends, and staff needs. Represent Hudson Behavioral Health professionally at community events, committees, or other assigned functions. Maintain a safe, respectful, and recovery-oriented environment that supports patient healing and staff engagement.
