Description

Performs CT procedures following the protocols established by the referring physicians or Radiologists. Operates CT scanner to produce cross sectional anatomical images of consistent optimal quality. Operates CT equipment in a safe and appropriate manner, following established safety guidelines. Assists in orienting and teaching of technical staff. Directs work of the technologists in the absence of supervisory personal, or as instructed by supervisor. Education High School Diploma or Equivalent Required Non Degree Program Graduate from a two-year AMA approved radiologic technology program Required Experience 2 years experience as a CT Scan Technologist Required General Experience in supervising others Preferred Licenses Reg Technologist (R) Required Basic Life Support Preferred Reg Technologist (R) (CT) Preferred

Responsibilities

The Lead CT Technologist performs CT procedures according to protocols set by physicians or Radiologists, operating the CT scanner to produce high-quality cross-sectional anatomical images. This role also involves directing the work of other technologists in supervisory absence and assisting in teaching technical staff.
