As a Lead Cybersecurity Architect - Security Operations at JPMorganChase within CCB, you are an integral part of a team that works to develop high-quality cybersecurity solutions for various software applications on modern cloud-based technologies. As a core technical contributor, you are responsible for carrying out critical cybersecurity architecture solutions by identifying, creating, and communicating risk, mitigation options, and solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of project goals. Job responsibilities Monitor Security Systems: Continuously monitor security tools (SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, endpoint protection) for suspicious activity and potential threats. Incident Response: Investigate, analyze, and respond to security incidents, including malware infections, unauthorized access, and data breaches. Engage with Teams: Collaborate with internal teams to address general ACL (Access Control List), AWS, asset management, and security-related questions. Threat Intelligence: Stay updated on the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and technology trends; integrate threat intelligence into operational processes. Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and coordinate remediation efforts with relevant teams. Security Automation: Develop and maintain scripts and automation tools to streamline security operations and incident response. Reporting: Prepare detailed reports on security incidents, trends, and compliance status for management and regulatory purposes. Collaboration: Work with IT, development, and business teams to implement security best practices and ensure secure system configurations. Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of security policies, procedures, and incident response actions. Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills Strong Networking Skills: Deep understanding of network protocols, architectures, and troubleshooting. Strong Threat Modeling Skills: Ability to identify, assess, and prioritize potential threats to systems and applications. Strong AWS/Cloud Skills: Hands-on experience with AWS and other cloud platforms, including security best practices and cloud asset management. Proficiency with security monitoring tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint protection). Experience with scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation. Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR). Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH, Security+) are a plus. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP). Knowledge of forensic analysis and malware reverse engineering. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
