Management Level: Class 4 Schedule - Saturday-Monday Hours - 8:00PM - 8:00AM Pay - 21.10/Hr. Plus 2.00-hour shift premium Description This Position is responsible for assisting the Supervisor in coordination of the daily responsibilities of the department by insuring this Supervisor's instructions are communicated to the team members and carried out timely and correctly. This position will also monito all equipment to insure it is working properly and notify the supervisor of any needed maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Tasks Assist department Supervisor in startup meetings and coordination of assignments by passing on Supervisor's instructions and directions. Explain and assure understanding of such directions. Monitor performance and safety of equipment and Team Member and notify Supervisor of needed repairs, inoperative equipment or any performance issues with Team Members. Assist in the training of Team Members in new positions on all safety policies (JSA), forklift operation to OSHA and Tyson standards and operational standards including USDA and QA regulations. Assis clean-up and sanitation of the shift and check readiness of equipment. Report personnel questions and concerns to the Supervisor. Learn and utilize basic computer functions (SAP, PPS, Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook), reading and math skills to be able to complete paperwork associated with the department. The successful candidate must have strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills. Successful bidder may be asked to work on a different shift that they are assigned to help cover in supervisor absence. All other duties assigned by the Supervisor. This is a discretionary bid job awarded to the most qualified candidate based on qualifications to include work history, attendance, disciplinary record and position specific requirements. Requirements Must have 7 or less attendance points on the day of application. , must not have disciplines in the last 12 months.
