Description Are you a talented dance educator who loves both teaching and mentoring others? Miami Children's Museum is seeking an experienced Lead Dance Instructor to help shape and elevate the dance programming within our Mini Masters programs. This role is ideal for a creative leader who enjoys developing curriculum, mentoring instructors, creating choreography, and helping students shine on stage. As a key member of our arts education leadership team, you'll support dance instructors across multiple sites, oversee program quality, lead rehearsals and showcase preparation, and help ensure every student receives an engaging and high-quality dance education experience. What You'll Do Support and mentor dance instructors across multiple program sites. Develop dance curriculum, lesson resources, and choreography that align with program goals and showcases. Conduct site visits and provide coaching, feedback, and instructional support to teaching staff. Lead rehearsals and assist students in developing technique, confidence, stage presence, and performance skills. Support showcase planning, music selection, choreography development, and performance preparation. Collaborate with program leadership to maintain consistent, high-quality dance instruction across all locations. Participate in meetings, performances, and special events as needed. Requirements Minimum of 5 years of experience in dance instruction, choreography, dance education, or performing arts. Strong proficiency in multiple dance styles, including ballet, jazz, hip hop, contemporary, creative movement, and/or musical theater. Experience mentoring, supervising, or supporting instructional staff preferred. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Passion for youth development, arts education, and helping students achieve their artistic potential. Reliable transportation and flexibility to support rehearsals, performances, and special events.
