JOB OVERVIEW:

NCCI, located in Boca Raton, FL, is a highly respected organization in the workers compensation insurance industry known for being the trusted source of information services. We are looking for a Lead Data Analyst – Medical Data to join our team.
This individual coordinates activities across staff members and with other teams as needed to accomplish Data Resources operational objectives. The person in this role needs to possess a broad depth of technical knowledge and be the expert at their function. They are the “go-to” person on the collection and validation of medical data across divisions and can act as the subject matter expert for team procedures and manuals impacting critical data deliverables. The individual would have a solid understanding of insurance, specifically Workers Compensation, claims, or medical billing. The person is viewed as an expert to external data providers, independent rating bureaus, and state agencies as appropriate for their role.

Responsibilities
  • Coordinate team activities to meet established goals and measurements. Includes planning of team meetings and tracking of Corporate/Divisional/Departmental goals.
  • Identify key business process issues, underlying causes/effects to develop new methods, plans and processes based upon industry needs.
  • Oversee team process and procedure manuals ensuring all are kept current and meet business partner agreements.
  • Supports industry communication, teleconferences, and external training events. This includes developing, reviewing, and delivering materials in formal and informal settings.
  • Provide quality control to work coordinated by hands-on reviewing the quality of work performed by staff members, working with others to improve quality, and supporting staff in resolving more complex issues.
