The Lead Data Analyst will play a pivotal role in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights that guide strategic decisions across the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deliver advanced analytics solutions, including reports, dashboards, and predictive models. This role requires balancing hands-on data work with leadership responsibilities, mentoring junior analysts, and overseeing project execution. You will engage directly with stakeholders, translating analytical findings into clear recommendations while driving process improvements and data accuracy. Accountabilities: Lead the design, development, and delivery of customized reports and dashboards for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and engineers to solve complex analytical problems using R, Python, SQL, and other tools. Collect, aggregate, and manipulate data from multiple sources, applying statistical and machine learning techniques to generate insights. Communicate analytical findings effectively through written reports, presentations, and visualizations for both technical and non-technical audiences. Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth. Oversee project management, including planning, prioritization, and tracking progress of analytical initiatives. Engage with stakeholders to clarify requirements, address challenges, and deliver tailored solutions. 7+ years of experience in analytics, data science, or related fields. Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative or social science field; Master’s or PhD preferred. Advanced coding experience in R, Python, or SQL (5+ years; 4+ years specifically in R, Python, or SQL). 4+ years of project leadership or team management experience. Strong knowledge of analytics, statistics, and business intelligence software. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex findings for diverse audiences. Intellectual curiosity, critical thinking, and attention to detail. Willingness to mentor, share knowledge, and explore innovative approaches to data challenges. Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Competitive cash compensation: $124,000–$158,000 annually, including base salary, variable commission, and annual bonus. Eligibility for equity plan and stock options.
