Role reports to: Manager Location: Asia Pacific, India, Karnataka, Bangalore Work Location: Hybrid What you will do We are looking for a visionary Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of a centralized, multi-tenant data ecosystem. You will be the technical authority for building complex hierarchical models using Graph technology and establishing a unified Metric Hub to power both high-end Power BI visualizations and custom applications. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between complex data engineering and business intelligence, ensuring a scalable architecture that supports multi-client isolation and sophisticated Policy-Based Access Control (PBAC).--- Key Responsibilities · Architectural Leadership: Finalize end-to-end data architectures and technical roadmaps, ensuring they meet the requirements of a high-concurrency, multi-client application environment. · Graph & Hierarchical Modelling: Design and implement advanced hierarchical data structures using Neo4j, transitioning traditional relational data into high-performance graph models for complex relationship mapping. · Headless BI: Build and govern a centralized "Metric Store" (Headless BI) that ensures a single source of truth for KPIs across Power BI dashboards and external API-driven applications. · Microservice Architecture: API driven data solution to support application and data science model need. · Data Platforms: Proven experience with Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) and managing both relational stores (SQL Server, PostgreSQL). · BI & Visualization: Deep understanding of Power BI integration, specifically connecting to semantic models and metric layers. · Azure Fabric: Deep understanding of Azure fabric and can come up with minimize data hops for final visualization. --- Required Skills & Qualifications · Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. · 6+ years of IT exp in a solution architect or lead role focused on Azure. · Technical Stack: o Expertise in Azure Fabric, Databricks (PySpark), PostgreSQL, Neo4J for data processing. o Strong proficiency in Python programming and Data modelling for application. o Experience in data streaming – Databricks autoloader or Azure Stream Analytics. o Data Warehousing: Solid understanding of Delta Lake architecture and relational database design. --- Desired Qualifications · Architectural Mindset: Familiarity with broader solution architecture principles is a strong plus. · Knowledge of RBAC/PBAC is preferred. · Azure certifications (AZ-305) or Neo4J certified.
