In-Office: This is a 100% in-office role based at any of our Schaumburg, Il - Meridian, ID - or Rochester, NY locations. Remote or hybrid work is not available for this position. Candidates must be able to work on-site five days per week during designated work hours. Position Overview The Data Conversion Associate Team Lead will provide leadership, coaching, training, and mentoring to the Data Conversion Associates to ensure that all critical aspects of data conversion issues are met and resolved appropriately. The Team Lead will provide feedback to the Team Members on areas of improvement and to identify areas of success. Must have a complete understanding of DCA tools, SOPs, Project Types, and an overall understanding of the entire Implementation process. The Team Lead must be willing to respond to issues in a prompt, accurate, and courteous manner. The Team Lead must be able to identify and effectively communicate areas of training improvements and common performance deficits as well as offer praise and positive promotion of a job well done. Primary Responsibilities The below represents the primary duties of the position, others may be assigned as needed. Supervision of the operations for their designated team Supervising the work of their assigned group on a day to day basis which may include delegation of work assignments to various team members Provide training and assist with coaching and development of new and existing team members Facilitate business or team update communications through regularly occurring meetings, 1:1s or team huddles Are expected to provide input and recommendations to managers in the areas of performance management, promotional opportunities, employee terminations and performance issues which are generally followed by the manager Developing and collaborating with management on best practices and ways to improve the team’s performance Handling escalated issues and deciding what, if anything, to do or offer to achieve resolution Take appropriate action on employee issues related to job performance and professional conduct, with assistance from and in collaboration with the Implementation Managers Conduct quality assessments and evaluations; meet weekly with data teams to review assignments and performance metrics Provide resolution and assistance to internal partners who have escalated concerns. Identify areas of improvement and make recommendations for supplemental training for all data teams Act as technical resource to the Implementation Department, answer inquiries as needed. Update Tools and internal training documentation as necessary All other duties as assigned Education and Experience Minimum three years experience in Paylocity platform preferred Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience Experience with Excel and other Microsoft office products High attention to detail and organizational skills Strong communication skill Identify opportunities for boosting operational efficiencies Adaptability and ability to successfully manage change Experience with various payroll applications a plus Previous leadership experience a plus Paylocity is an equal-opportunity employer. The base pay range for this position is $53,600 - $ 110,600 /yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
