REQUIREMENTS

• Hands-on experience with modern data engineering (storage, ingestion, transformation, reporting).
• Proficiency with Python, Spark, SQL, PySpark, Power BI (or similar).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Software engineering background (experience with JavaScript a plus).

We’re looking for a Lead Data Engineers to join Scott Logic and help build cutting-edge data platforms for some of the UK’s biggest companies and government departments. You’ll design data pipelines, integrate datasets, and enable solutions in data science, analytics, and AI.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Build and maintain data lakes, warehouses, and pipelines.
• Design scalable, maintainable data solutions for clients.
• Work directly with clients to advise, problem-solve, and deliver results.
• Lead or contribute to teams, depending on experience.
• Apply strong software engineering principles to data systems.
