What the role will entail Define and own the strategic roadmap for cloud-native data platforms, leading their design, implementation, and ongoing optimization Establish and govern DataOps and MLOps standards, including CI/CD, observability, automated testing, and monitoring Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Data Platform Engineers, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement Ensure platform reliability, performance, security, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, Risk, Engineering, and IT Operations to align platform capabilities with enterprise needs Drive continuous enhancement of platform services to support scalable, enterprise-grade data and ML solutions What we're looking for Bachelor's Degree in either Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field Relevant certifications preferred, including dbt, Databricks, Confluent Kafka, cloud platforms (Azure or AWS), and GitLab CI/CD 10+ years of experience in data or platform engineering, with at least 3 years in DataOps/MLOps leadership and people management Expert proficiency in dbt, Databricks, Kafka, Airflow or dbt Cloud, with strong Python and SQL skills and proven CI/CD automation experience Deep expertise in DataOps and MLOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and banking data governance and risk compliance frameworks What you can expect from joining our team Career development and training opportunities Competitive salary package and benefits Performance-based incentives and recognition programs to reward high-performing individuals Opportunity to work with industry experts and be mentored by them Defined career progression paths to guide you in your professional growth
