Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Analytics, Data Science, Statistics or equivalent experience demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.
  • Master’s degree or higher in a quantitative discipline such as mathematics, statistics, engineering, physics, economics, or computer science

Desired Qualifications:

Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Data Scientist to join the Conduct Analytics and Reporting (CAR) Team. This is an exciting opportunity to collaborate with Conduct Management leaders to address compliance challenges by developing AI/ML solutions using custom, open-source, and proprietary models.

In this role, you will:

  • Envision, design, develop, and implement custom AI/ML models
  • Lead or participate in complex initiatives and deliverables by utilizing advanced algorithms and statistical techniques
  • Execute analytical experiments and create innovative statistical techniques to discover solutions for abstract business problems across Conduct Management domain
  • Interpret and analyze data using advanced analytics methods to recommend ways to solve problems and influence business decisions
  • Provide expertise to leadership on implementing innovative AI/ML-driven business solutions that are strategically focused
  • Serve as an expert advisor to Conduct Management executives on complex, visible, and diverse solutions
  • Enforce and establish best practices related to data quality and governance
