Lead Dental Assistant/RDA
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated lead Registered Dental Assistant to join our team in the heart of downtown Livermore. . As a lead RDA, you will play a crucial role in providing quality dental care to our patients. If you have a passion for dentistry and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. This is a single doctor family private practice, with one primary lead RDA
* Dentrix experience a plus
ITERO Scanning experience
Invisalign knowledgably
Must have a minimum of 2 years assisting background*
Responsibilities: - Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist - Take dental X-rays -, Prepare and maintain dental materials, equipment, and instruments - Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures - Enter treatment via Dentrix software. Educate patients on dental procedures and post-operative care - Follow all HIPAA guidelines to ensure patient privacy and confidentiality - Assist with dental laboratory procedures, such as pouring molds and fabricating temporary crowns -
Qualifications: - Current certification in dental radiography - RDA, Proficiency in using dental imaging systems - Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures - Excellent patient communication skills - Familiarity with electronic dental record systems.- Ability to work well in a team environment also individually - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
