The Role
We are seeking an experienced and implant-qualified Lead Dental Nurse to guide and inspire our nursing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated professional to play a key leadership role within a progressive practice.

As our Lead Nurse, you will:

• Lead and mentor our team of Dental Nurses, ensuring high standards across all surgeries
• Support with implant and surgical treatments, providing chairside assistance at the highest level
• Oversee compliance and cross-infection control (HTM 01-05, CQC, audits, sterilisation logs)
• Coordinate stock control and ordering to ensure efficiency and cost-effectiveness
• Train and support trainee/apprentice nurses, guiding them through induction and competency tracking
• Assist the Business Manager and clinicians with daily workflows, recruitment, and team development
• Set the standard for patient care, ensuring a safe, calm, and positive patient experience

About You

• GDC Registered Dental Nurse (essential)
• Implant-qualified with experience in surgical procedures (essential)
• Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience in a busy practice
• Excellent knowledge of compliance, CQC standards, and cross-infection protocols
• Organised, proactive, and confident in leading a team
• Patient-focused with an outstanding chairside manner
• IT proficient (familiar with dental software and Microsoft Office)

What We Offer

• Up to £16.00 per hour depending on experience
• 40 hours per week – Monday to Friday (no weekends)
