Description

We are looking for a Dental Receptionist / Assistant Manager ( happy to train the right candidate) to join our busy and friendly dental team. We need someone extremely reliable , who can multitask, with a professional and friendly manner, good communication , leadership and people skills.

The daily duties would include :

  • Meeting and greeting patients, providing a great first impression and high quality service
  • Booking and amending appointments, answering phones and updating patient record whenever is needed
  • Liaising Lab work collections
  • Making patient aware of dental services and offers
  • Handling payments
  • Balancing daily takings and liaising with the manager to meet targets
  • Coordinating and assisting on the patient journey
  • Overseeing the day to day running of the clinic
  • Managing a team of clinical and non-clinical staff
  • Managing staff rotas including sickness and absences to ensure sufficient levels are maintained
  • Good financial management business growth increasing sale and reducing costs
  • Handling complaints and feedback from staff and patients
  • Managing staff and their performance, appraisals and staff development reviews
  • Conducting regular team meeting and staff training
  • Maintaining premises , equipment and surfaces in a clean , safe, hygienic environment
  • Implementing and updated policies and procedures
  • Maintaining stock levels of both clinical and consumables
  • Risk assessment audits which must be completed to standards

Full training will be provided - the most important thing is that the candidate must have good patient manner , be willing to learn.
