Job Description Mechanical Engineer responsible for new product development to ensure they meet performance, quality, manufacturing, and cost requirements.Technical Integration of mechanics & electronics, Defining theIsolation clearance & creepage as per IEC 60664-1, including re-inforced isolation requirements.System & vehicle integration via finalizing the electrical interfaces for power out & communication.Ensure design to line, follow standardized elements as per common modular base concept. Interconnect technology use & release management like TIM, glue, potting, laser cleaning, plasma treatment for connector.Challenges the design elements selection against the application loads to teamPCBA Integration - Drive the contour development with clear definition on technology of PCB, Solder resist, HSP usage, layers definitions, reference designators, taboo zones for gripping in assembly stationsBrazed cooler design - Cooling concept, plastc integrated concepts know how. Clear understanding of HPDC process. Material know how with environmental impact knowledgeMechanical development for new products, considering functionality, industrialization, and cost-effectiveness.Setting up and implementing analyses to verify the design at different stages of product development.Knowledge of drafting, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.Capable of defining the requirements for the component and develop BOM for manufacturingDefine special characteristics and collaborate with quality for quality assuranceAlign deliverables and deadlines with relevant stakeholders.Oversee the design and manufacturing of prototypes.Perform Failure Mode Analysis (i.e. DFMEA).Knowledge of materials [polymers, Sheetmetal, diecast] and related manufacturing processes.Knowledge on tooling of plastic /sheet metal / diecast partsKnowledge on risk assessments based on application & assembly loadsKnowledge on production line concepts and capable of leading discussion with respect to industrializationKnowledge on handling change management in design through impact analysis on technical and commercial aspects Degree in Mechanical Engineering.9~11 years of experience in Mechanical Design.Proficiency in CAD software (CREO).Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, including injection molding, Diecast, sheet metal and machining.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Strong communication and teamwork skills.
