Start here. Grow here. Job Description AECOM is seeking a Lead Designer Mechanical - Wastewater/Water to be based in Mumbai, India. Candidates will be responsible for the following activities: Works under general supervision. Provides training and technical support to design staff on the Building Information Modeling system, which provides 3D models using project specifications and content. Direct project support and production to assigned projects and create the drawings as required using the standards and content to meet the job requirements (objects within the drawing, doors, lights, etc.). Provide ongoing support for all BIM applications and work closely with Design. Technology Manager to guide the transition from traditional BIM practices and deliverables into a more integrated design. To educate office leadership and operations in the use of BIM tools on projects and to assist teams at the onset of their project to manage expectations for deliverables and digital project plan to meet project goals. Generating BIM documents to submit for construction/bidding purposes and Participating in Mechanical Coordination phases of projects when Revit models are required for clash detection. Mentoring local Revit leadership, developing project-specific implementation strategies and collaborating with project teams to ensure BIM success by Standardizing and document Revit workflows & best practices. Maintain BIM standards and design templates to ensure quality and consistency of design environment and deliverables throughout various offices worldwide. Qualifications Qualifications & Experience: Diploma (or equivalent education) in an appropriate engineering discipline from an accredited college, institute or university. 7 - 10 Years of experience in wastewater/water industry. Drafting course from a recognized institute. Working experience using REVIT, Autocad and Microstation Professional registration in their designated home office country or be in active pursuit of such registration.
