Looking for Filipino (Philippines-based) candidates Job Role: Lead Designer / Senior Designer Salary Budget: $2000-$2500 AUD / Month Contract Type: Independent Contractor Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with flexibility to choose working hours. Some overlap with AEST hours is expected to support real-time communication/Willing to work full-time, aligned to Sydney time zone (+10 GMT). Who The Client Is: A full-service design and renovation firm based in Perth, Australia, specializing in luxury home transformations. With nearly two decades of experience, the team is dedicated to crafting timeless, personalized, and refined spaces that elevate and reflect each client's lifestyle. Their philosophy blends creativity with meticulous craftsmanship, intentionally limiting the number of projects taken on each year to ensure every detail receives focused attention. Role Overview: To deliver accurate, build-ready drafting services for the company’s luxury residential projects. The Offshore Drafting Contractor translates design intent into technical drawings, schedules, and documentation packages that meet Australian standards and the company’s quality requirements, while upholding confidentiality, timelines, and contractor obligations under the Independent Contractor Agreement. Key Responsibilities: 1. Drafting & Documentation Produce detailed working drawings including: plans, elevations, sections, cabinetry/joinery details, lighting layouts, HVAC and AV layers. Ensure outputs are consistent with Lux Interiors’ drafting standards and templates. Incorporate consultant inputs (engineering, lighting, AV) into drawing sets. Deliver clear, accurate, and uncorrupted digital files in approved formats. 2. Revisions & Timeliness Action mark-ups and revisions provided by Senior/Lead Designers within agreed timeframes (time is of the essence). Apply rigorous version control to all drawing packages. Ensure all deliverables are completed by the deadlines set in each Works Order. 3. Quality Standards Maintain a high level of precision to minimise RFIs and rework on site. Meet the defects and warranty obligations under the Agreement: Correct defects at no cost if notified within the warranty period. Ensure workmanship complies with Australian industry standards. Uphold Lux Interiors’ reputation for detail and luxury. 4. Compliance & Confidentiality Adhere to company policies, IT and email protocols, and Privacy obligations. Maintain confidentiality of all company and client information. Protect and assign to Lux Interiors all intellectual property created under this engagement. Avoid conflicts of interest and promote the company’s best interests. 5. Communication & Reporting Maintain proactive communication with Senior Designer and Operations Manager. Provide reports or updates as requested in relation to Works Orders. Raise queries or missing information early to prevent rework. 6. Commercial & Administrative Provide a monthly Tax Invoice for agreed fees (AUD $2,000/month per Works Order). Cover own taxes, insurances, and employment obligations as per contractor status. Ensure software, hardware, and tools required for services are maintained at own expense. Key Deliverables Accurate, complete, and build-ready drawing packages. Timely delivery of revisions and updates per Works Orders. Zero-defect documentation aligned with Lux Interiors’ standards. Confidential, professional, and reliable drafting services. Compliance with all contractor obligations under the Independent Contractor Agreement. Performance Measures: Accuracy: Minimal errors or omissions in drawings. Timeliness: All Works Orders and revisions completed within specified deadlines. Quality: Documentation meets Lux Interiors’ luxury standards and reduces site RFIs. Compliance: Adherence to confidentiality, IP, and contractual obligations. Communication: Effective, proactive reporting and responsiveness to feedback. Required Skills & Qualifications Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in residential or interior design drafting (luxury or high-end projects preferred) Proficiency in AutoCAD (required); experience with SketchUp, Revit, or Enscape is a plus Strong understanding of technical documentation, detailing, and joinery drawings Excellent knowledge of construction drawing standards and terminology Ability to interpret and translate design concepts into accurate, build-ready documentation Strong attention to detail, precision, and organization skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote work environment Reliable internet connection, updated hardware, and access to licensed design software Willingness to work within Australian time zones and align with the company’s quality and confidentiality standards Work Arrangement & Expectations: This is a remote role that will be set up as an independent contractor engagement.
