Build the future of the AI Data Cloud. Join the Snowflake team.
Snowflake is revolutionizing how developers build data-intensive applications. As a Lead Developer Advocate for EMEA, you will play a hands-on role in creating technical content, speaking at events, and engaging with developers online to educate and inspire them to build on the Snowflake platform.
This is a senior individual contributor (IC) role. You will work in alignment with the strategy defined by the Regional Head of Community & Developer Relations in EMEA and the Community & DevRel Motion Working Group. You’ll report into the global Developer Relations team, with a dotted line to the EMEA Community & DevRel team, contributing to programs already in motion and bringing expertise as we scale developer engagement across the region.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Create Developer Resources: Develop high-quality technical content including blog posts, tutorials, quickstarts (as requested by working groups and global ), open-source demos, and code samples to help developers build with Snowflake.
Conference Engagement: Submit CFPs (Call for Papers), speak at developer conferences and major meetups across EMEA, and deliver engaging, hands-on technical sessions and demos.
Online Community Engagement: Engage meaningfully with developers across GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, Slack, Reddit, and other channels, offering guidance, sharing learnings, and contributing content based on community needs.
Contribute to the Community & DevRel Motion Working Group: Collaborate as a contributor alongside the Regional Head of Community & DevRel in EMEA to shape and support content for programs such as Northstar, BUILD, and User Groups.
Align Content Creation and Developer Advocacy strategy with the Regional Plan: Ensure all advocacy activities, content creation, events, and engagements are aligned with Snowflake’s regional developer goals and reinforce existing programs as we grow.
