As a member of the leadership team for the product, your role is to support the developers in the team but also the other leaders of the team in the successful delivery of their tasks.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Accountable for the integrity of all systems built by the team and must also understand them all.
  • Guide developers in their search for the right technical implementation instead of providing them with the solution to implement.
  • Ensure that the task breakdown and work estimates are done correctly by developers by pairing with them regularly.
  • Contribute to writing stories by refining them and making sure they clearly express the requirements and edge cases and not the solution itself.
  • Ensure that developers aren’t blocked.
  • Know the state of each task in the sprint for each member of the team.
  • Ensure that the sequencing of tasks is optimal with regard to planned work.
  • Ensure that code reviews are made according to the good practices.
  • Help technical staff in increasing their skills.

  • Demonstrate the cost of the technical debt and the value in correcting it to the other leadership team members.
  • In charge of the technical coordination with another team’s architect or lead developer.
  • Ensure that the technical onboarding of new members is effectively done.
  • Ensure that the deployment plan is available (do it or delegate doing it) and that it be understood and usable by all team members.

  • Excellent ability to manage stress and priorities.
  • Analytical mind.
  • French is mandatory, English is an asset.
