Job Description We are looking for an expert Agile Software Engineer to join our team, responsible for the T-Home Ordering Process (THOP). This application play a crucial role in generating significant revenue for the company. Our IT system enables brick-and-mortar retailers, Deutsche Telekom’s direct sales team, external and internal call centers, and B2B partners to access various landline business processes via web frontends and web services. Since 2018, THOP has been developed using agile methodologies within a SCRUM team. Your Responsibilities As part of our Scrum team, you will be responsible for: Coordinate a team of developer (3-5 people) Analyzing requirements and refining user stories with the team Designing solutions in collaboration with system architects and developers Developing and implementing new features Supporting team members with analysis and implementation tasks Enhancing and maintaining test automation Identifying and resolving bugs and incidents Expanding monitoring for system stability Documenting new and updated features Code maintenance and refactoring Should be willing and able to analyze and understand legacy code Qualifications Frontend: JavaScript, CSS, RichFaces Backend: EJB, Spring Boot, Java 8, Java 11, Java 17 Communication Protocols: SOAP, REST DevOps & CI/CD: Git, GitLab Middleware & Messaging: IBM MQ (Production), ActiveMQ (System Testing), JBoss Containerization & Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes (CaaS - a specific Kubernetes cloud of the Telekom) Database & ORM: Hibernate (ORM Framework), Oracle DB (SQL) Scripting: Python (for development environment), bash/ash (for GitLab Pipelines and scripts in containers) Additional Information * Please be informed that our remote working possibility is only available within Hungary due to European taxation regulation.
