Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: We’re looking for an experienced Lead DevOps Engineer who will remotely manage up to 5 DevOps Engineers in India. This position is a fully remote position based in the United States. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Provide architectural oversight and guidance for CI/CD pipeline design and implementation using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Bicep, Terraform) Oversee and optimize Azure cloud environments across multiple projects and teams, including compute, networking, and storage Support deployment and release of .NET / C# applications in Azure environments Identify solutions and implementation paths for newly identified security requirements Partner with Microsoft engineering teams to improve build, test, and release workflows Document pipelines, infrastructure, and operational processes LEADERSHIP RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and manage a team, providing strategic direction, performance oversight, and career development support Establish and drive DevOps standards, governance, and operational excellence across distributed teams Partner with US-based and global stakeholders to align DevOps strategy with business and security objectives Oversee capacity planning, resource allocation, and delivery commitments across projects Provide leadership in security and compliance initiatives, including S360 and Secure First Initiative (SFI) efforts Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD pipeline automation, and Azure Engineering 5+ years of experience with Azure networking and authentication processes 2+ years of experience leading technical teams or managing DevOps engineers Experience managing offshore or distributed teams preferred Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive cross-functional alignment Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factories, Network Security Perimeters, and Virtual Machines. Hands-on experience supporting C# / .NET applications Working knowledge of SQL Server and Azure SQL. This role primarily supports PST business hours. Flexibility to occasionally support EMEA time zones is required based on project and operational needs.
