Description

As a strategic and hands-on Lead Digital Analyst you will join our Digital Experience Program. In this role you’ll embed analytics as a core capability in digital product delivery, drive deep insights that shape our digital experience, and lead a high-performing team.

What you’ll be doing

  • Driving insights that shape digital experience, optimise conversion, and support RAC’s member and business goals.
  • Leading and mentoring a high-performing digital analytics team and providing guidance to data analysts working within the Digital Experience domain.
  • Embedding analytics as a core capability in digital product delivery, influencing roadmaps, prioritisation, and optimisation.
  • Partnering cross-functionally with product, UX, marketing, and technology teams to align analytics with shared outcomes.
  • Ensuring data quality and governance, overseeing tracking, tagging, and measurement standards across digital platforms.
  • Translating data into action, using storytelling and visualisation to present insights and influence decision-making at all levels.
  • Shaping strategic direction, managing the analytics roadmap and representing Member Experience needs in platform planning.

What you’ll bring

  • A natural leader who inspires and empowers others, builds strong relationships, and thrives in collaborative environments with the ability to embed analytics in decision-making processes.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in fields such as Mathematics, Data Science, Economics or similar, or equivalent hands-on experience in digital analytics.
  • Google Individual Qualifications and technical proficiency across Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Looker Studio).
  • Significant experience in digital or data analytics within large, complex, or multi-brand environments, with a strong grasp of web and app behaviour analysis.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and Excel, with familiarity in Python or R a bonus.
  • A solid understanding of segmentation, funnel analysis, and A/B testing.
  • Proven ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights, with strong data storytelling and visualisation skills tailored to diverse stakeholders.
