Our company is currently looking for a Lead Digital Print Operator for 3rd shift (10pm to 6am) responsible for the efficient setup, operation, and maintenance of high-speed digital web presses, including the HP PageWide T4250. This individual ensures print jobs meet quality standards, trains and mentors press crew members and troubleshoots operational issues independently. The role requires strong technical aptitude, color printing knowledge, and leadership abilities. Essential Duties & Responsibilities Operate and maintain HP PageWide T4250 digital web press with inline finishing. Monitor output to ensure print quality and job specifications are met. Train and guide new press operators and crew members. Perform standard and advanced maintenance tasks independently. Troubleshoot and resolve equipment and production issues. Coordinate with production leadership on job priorities and deadlines. Ensure safety procedures and company policies are followed. Maintain accurate records of production runs, maintenance logs, and quality checks. Requirements Qualifications Education & Experience Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. 2+ years of experience operating roll-to-roll digital presses (required). Experience with IBM, Kodak, Xerox iGen, or Oce digital presses. Previous work in a traditional offset or web press environment preferred. Experience with 4-color (CMYK) printing and digital print workflows. Technical and mechanical aptitude, with strong troubleshooting skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and train others. Physical Requirements & Work Environment Manufacturing environment with exposure to dust, ink, solvents, vapors, and mechanical parts. Requires standing and walking on concrete flooring for 100% of the shift. Frequent bending, lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. Use of pallet jacks and carts to transport materials is required. Moderate noise level; hearing protection may be required. Preferred Qualifications Hands-on experience with HP PageWide digital presses. Familiarity with inline finishing equipment (e.g., VITS).
