Description Under the general direction of the Direct Service Manager, a Direct Service Lead is responsible to provide support, guidance, direction, re-direction to the children attending Community direct-care services, and outpatient services. Direct Service Lead will oversee Direct Service Providers who deliver services that support youth with emotional, physical and mental health challenges. Direct Service Lead are also responsible to assist in the training of new providers, complete monthly summaries and intakes as well as be the point of contact for Direct Services Providers in their assigned area in the absence of their immediate Direct Service Manager. The Direct Service Lead also supports parents and caregivers in navigating behavioral health systems and helps families reach their treatment goals. This includes delivering tailored interventions that promote the strengths of the child or youth, facilitating support groups, and maintaining accurate member documentation. Collaboration with case managers, caregivers, and other support professionals is essential for success. The Direct Service Lead often attends or facilitates Child and Family or Adult Recovery Team Meetings and provides clinical interventions aligned with members’ Individual Service Plans. This role includes administrative responsibilities, particularly when the site manager is unavailable. The Direct Service Lead must be familiar with agency policies, maintain billable productivity, and complete all required documentation and training to meet agency and licensing standards. Evening and weekend hours are expected to meet family needs, and travel may be required up to 50% of the time, with in-home or community-based services provided. Requirements Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and either two years of experience in the Behavioral Health field or a relevant bachelor's degree. Strong verbal and written communication skills, organizational ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office are necessary. Candidates should also demonstrate empathy, collaborative skills, and knowledge of local behavioral health systems. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and required insurance coverage are essential. CPR/First Aid certification and a current or eligible fingerprint clearance card are also required. This position involves both desk work and physical activity, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in varied indoor and outdoor conditions. Employees may need to travel between locations, climb stairs, and operate office equipment. The role demands frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
