In this role, you will work closely with our Program Director to coordinate and deliver high-quality support services for individuals with disabilities. Collaborate with the Program Director to oversee and coordinate a wide range of support services Assist in managing individual finances, activities, and program services Facilitate family involvement and coordinate education/vocational programs Oversee health care, nutrition, and household management for program participants Assist with staff scheduling and maintain consistency in programming and individual care Ensure effective communication among staff members and support team Perform direct care responsibilities during shifts as needed Mentor and guide other Direct Support Professionals Travel locally to various program locations and community settings as required Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with organizational policies and regulations Qualifications Minimum of two years of experience working with individuals with disabilities At least one year of lead staff experience or a two-year degree in a related field Prior experience in residential services preferred Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Reliable vehicle with current auto liability insurance Excellent decision-making, communication, and time management skills Ability to work independently and carry out job functions without direct supervision Strong leadership and mentoring abilities Proficiency in basic computer skills and relevant software applications In-depth knowledge of disability support services and individual care programming Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the field Exceptional interpersonal skills for effectively working with individuals, families, and team members Demonstrated ability to organize and coordinate multiple tasks and priorities Empathetic approach to supporting individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds Flexibility to adapt to changing situations and requirements Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in the field Additional Information At Dungarvin, diversity and inclusion are a part of what makes our organization strong.
