Job Title: Lead Dispatcher   Why consider a career at MLC?     MLC was recognized by Newsweek as one of America’s Greatest Workplaces & received an EcoVadis Sustainability Rating for our continued commitment to sustainability in 2025.   * Highly collaborative work environment focused on growth and innovation * Safety and sustainability are top priorities * Excellent compensation, benefits, generous perks; focused on employee wellbeing * Great development and advancement opportunities * Bring your real self to work, come grow with us!   MLC operates the largest lime facility in the Americas and mines some of the purest limestone reserves in the world…and we are global!  The company is committed to development and employee satisfaction.  Join our outstanding team!    About the Job The Lead Dispatcher coordinates and oversees daily driver dispatch activities while supporting safe, efficient terminal operations in Vicksburg, MS and remotely for Chester, SC.   * Oversee daily dispatching to ensure all orders are assigned and executed efficiently • Support terminal operations by assisting dispatch and filling in during weekends, vacations, or absences • Conduct customer site surveys and participate in driver ride‑alongs • Monitor fuel, DEF, and chemical levels—ensuring timely reorders • Manage inventory and ordering of PPE, safety gear, tools, and related equipment • Review drivers’ hours of service and Samsara video events; partner with Terminal Leader on coaching • Provide remote oversight of Chester, SC driver operations • Assist the Terminal Leader with day‑to‑day operational needs     Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent • 3+ years of experience in a dispatching or similar logistics role     Preferred Qualifications * Class A CDL • Knowledge of DOT safety regulations, trucking, and heavy equipment operations • Experience with barge operations • Understanding of pneumatic tankers • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment   The Fine Print Benefits and perquisites may vary based on the nature and location of each job.
