About the Job The Lead Dispatcher coordinates and oversees daily driver dispatch activities while supporting safe, efficient terminal operations in Vicksburg, MS and remotely for Chester, SC. * Oversee daily dispatching to ensure all orders are assigned and executed efficiently • Support terminal operations by assisting dispatch and filling in during weekends, vacations, or absences • Conduct customer site surveys and participate in driver ride‑alongs • Monitor fuel, DEF, and chemical levels—ensuring timely reorders • Manage inventory and ordering of PPE, safety gear, tools, and related equipment • Review drivers’ hours of service and Samsara video events; partner with Terminal Leader on coaching • Provide remote oversight of Chester, SC driver operations • Assist the Terminal Leader with day‑to‑day operational needs Required Qualifications * High School Diploma or equivalent • 3+ years of experience in a dispatching or similar logistics role Preferred Qualifications * Class A CDL • Knowledge of DOT safety regulations, trucking, and heavy equipment operations • Experience with barge operations • Understanding of pneumatic tankers • Proficiency with Microsoft Office • Strong communication skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast‑paced environment The Fine Print Benefits and perquisites may vary based on the nature and location of each job.
