The Lead Dispatcher is part of the team responsible for providing a centralized location for collecting, processing, documenting and disseminating information as it relates to routine and emergency calls for service in the INWA Region. The role operates much like a public 911 center but additionally monitors high risk areas through the use of CCTV, alarms and access control systems.  In addition, the lead dispatcher is charged with coordinating schedules and coverage and providing training for Security Officers and Dispatchers.  The lead dispatcher is also the liaison with vendors of equipment and main point of contact for the department n the absence of a supervisor.  Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they’re invaluable.
