Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Lead Distribution Engineer to provide strategic and technical leadership across large-scale utility distribution projects. This position requires a minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in electrical distribution engineering and a demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage complex deliverables, and uphold technical standards. The successful candidate will serve as a senior resource for both design execution and project oversight.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 10+ years of direct experience in electrical distribution engineering, with increasing leadership responsibility
  • Registered as a Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in a Canadian province (e.g., APEGS or equivalent)
  • Strong record of technical leadership and project delivery within the utility sector

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Advanced knowledge of distribution planning, load forecasting, and system reliability analysis
  • Proficiency in CYME, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, SAP, and related utility software
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams on high-value projects

Responsibilities
