Responsibilities

As Lead E-Commerce & Conversion Rate Optimization, you will join our Online Marketing, E-Commerce, and CRM hub in Berlin. In this role, you will take ownership of scaling our multi-brand Shopify Plus ecosystem, optimizing on-site performance, and driving revenue growth through digital product development, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and strategic content structuring.
You will lead the eCommerce operations team, manage the Shopify tool stack, and be responsible for our data layer. If you have a strong background in digital product strategy, Shopify Plus, and CRO—and can turn insights into impactful user experiences—this is your opportunity to shape and elevate our eCommerce performance.
Experience in platform migration and building scalable data structures is a strong plus.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Product Strategy: Translate business goals into scalable eCommerce solutions that balance commercial impact, UX, and technical feasibility.
  • Shopify Ecosystem Management: Manage and develop multiple storefronts across brands and markets, defining long-term roadmaps for features and performance.
  • Team Leadership: Lead the eCommerce operations team and oversee product, content, and campaign execution with efficient workflows.
  • Conversion Optimization: Drive CRO through A/B testing, behavioral analytics, and UX improvements using GA4, Hotjar, and Shopify insights.
  • Content & UX Briefing: Define structured content needs and align cross-functional teams to deliver high-converting assets.
  • Data & Tracking Ownership: Ensure robust, compliant tracking and maintain a scalable data layer to support analytics and marketing.
  • Master Data Governance: Build clean, scalable product data structures across Shopify, PIM, and ERP systems.
  • Tool Stack Management: Optimize the eCommerce tech stack to enhance conversion, engagement, and insight generation.
  • Migration Leadership: [Depending on start date] Manage the phased transition from Shopware to Shopify, ensuring a seamless, disruption-free migration.
