Since 1975, Hilltop School has been a trusted part of the community—serving families with heart, purpose, and deep respect for childhood. Founded in 1869 as an orphanage, we’ve grown into a vibrant nonprofit, play-based learning center. We believe children learn best through play, and we honor curiosity, creativity, and connection every day.

POSITION OVERVIEW

We’re seeking a Lead Preschool Teacher who is passionate about child-led learning and creating joyful, meaningful experiences. The right candidate will bring warmth, creativity, and professionalism to our preschool program serving children ages 3–5.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (or related field) or a current CDA Certification
• Classroom experience with preschool-age children
• Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills

• Create and implement a play-based, emergent curriculum
• Support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth
• Partner with families through open communication
• Foster a classroom community of belonging and respect
