About Our Centre
Busy Bees at Torquay is a vibrant 114-place service located near the Surf Coast, offering engaging indoor and outdoor learning environments and a strong sense of community. Our dedicated team is committed to delivering high-quality education and care through play-based programs that foster each child’s individuality.
We’re looking for a passionate and experienced Lead Educator to join us full-time and lead by example in creating meaningful early learning experiences.
About the Role

As a Lead Educator, you will:

• Lead and guide your room’s educators to deliver high-quality programs aligned with the EYLF
• Create engaging, inclusive, and age-appropriate learning environments
• Build strong, respectful relationships with children and families
• Model and support best practices in documentation, curriculum planning, and child safety
• Foster collaboration, inclusion, and positive team dynamics
• Support compliance and quality improvement processes

What You’ll Need

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
• At least 2 years of experience as a Room Leader or Lead Educator
• Sound knowledge of the EYLF, NQS, and child development principles
• Current Working with Children Check (Employee) – VIC
• First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis training (HLTAID012 or equivalent)
• Child Protection / Mandatory Reporting certificate
• Australian work rights (Citizen, PR, or appropriate visa)
