ABOUT US

Our cutting-edge childcare and Kindergarten centre is perfectly positioned for families in Beckenham, East Cannington, Cannington, Queens Park, Kenwick, and Langford. At Great Beginnings Beckenham, we offer custom-designed daycare and Kindergarten services for kids aged 6 weeks to 6 years.
With space for up to 104 little ones, we’re open from 6:30am to 6:30pm, providing a full day of care and learning.

ABOUT YOU – WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

You’re more than qualified—you’re passionate, motivated, and ready to make a real difference in the lives of little learners. Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • Diploma QualifiedYou hold an ACECQA-approved Diploma in Children’s Services and are confident in your skills.
  • Framework-SavvyYou’ve got a solid understanding of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)—and know how to bring them to life in a fun, engaging way.
  • Experience with Young ChildrenYou’ve worked in early learning environments with children aged 0–5 and know how to create safe, supportive, and playful spaces.
  • Great CommunicatorWhether it’s chatting with families, connecting with your team, or documenting learning—your verbal and written communication skills shine.
  • Safety ReadyYou have a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate (including CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis training).

You will also share our commitment and passion for bringing learning to life, inspiring the children in our care to reach their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Lead in the planning and delivery of age-appropriate activities, including art, music, movement, and outdoor play
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity
  • Observe and assess the development and progress of each child, and communicate with parents and colleagues about individual needs and achievements
  • Maintain a clean and organised room, including managing materials and supplies
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of all children at all times, following all policies and procedures
