JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Head of Electrical Engineering to lead our electrical department within a top-tier consultancy firm. The ideal candidate will have over 17-20 years of proven experience in designing, managing, and delivering high-, medium-, and low-voltage electrical systems for large-scale projects across various sectors, including commercial, residential, infrastructure, and industrial developments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 17-20 years of relevant experience in consultancy or design-focused roles.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems (HV/MV/LV) design and standards.
• Strong leadership, project management, and team coordination skills.
• Proven experience working on large-scale projects in the MENA region.
• Native Arabic speaker with excellent English communication skills.
• Professional engineering license or certification is a plus (e.g., PMP, PE, or equivalent).

• Lead and manage the Electrical Engineering Department, overseeing project execution, team performance, and client satisfaction.
• Provide technical leadership in the design and review of high, medium, and low voltage electrical systems.
• Ensure all designs meet international standards (e.g., IEC, NEC, DEWA, ADDC, etc.) and local authority requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated engineering solutions.
• Mentor junior engineers and support their technical development.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders throughout all project stages.
• Oversee quality assurance processes and ensure timely delivery of projects.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technologies, and regulations.
