Kent is offering an exciting and challenging opportunity for a Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a senior member of the team, you’ll collaborate closely with multidisciplinary engineers, management, and client representatives to ensure seamless project delivery and uphold our reputation for outstanding performance. You will play a key role in shaping estimates and proposals while driving the timely, on-budget production of design deliverables. If you thrive in a leadership role where technical expertise, collaboration, and accountability are valued In this role, some of the following duties you will undertake but not limited to: The role will involve working as part of a growing team producing work for the power and energy industries. Work will involve engineering design/advice and may include the following: Performing all work in accordance with the Kent Quality Management and Health, Safety & Security System and within agreed time and schedule constraints. Participation as Principal Electrical Engineer in Multidiscipline Projects (feasibility, concept, FEED, detailed design, procurement and construction) in Greenfield and Brownfield development projects Leadership of Projects and Teams as part of the electrical engineering capability within the Kent Brisbane office Liaison with clients, developing and maintaining customer relationships and fee earning opportunities Liaison with suppliers and contractors Liaison with the other disciplines, clients’ engineering and production personnel to ensure consistent basis for all input parameters Coordination/Execution of electrical engineering calculations and studies Electrical equipment procurement, evaluation and vendor data review Report and specification writing Definition of development options and parameters for cost estimates Analysis and design Trouble shooting and problem-solving Technical/commercial due-diligence advice Site survey and inspection activities (as required) Benefits: Attractive salary & benefits Work/Life balance friendly workplace Health & Wellbeing Program Employee Assistance Program Inclusion & Belonging Program Health insurance discount Work for a brand that's been in the industry for over 100 years.
