JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Electrician to oversee electrical projects and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, renovation projects, and the ability to lead a team of electricians. This role requires expertise in reading blueprints and schematics, as well as hands-on experience with various power tools and diagnostic equipment.

SKILLS

• Proficient knowledge of electrical systems, including installation, maintenance, and repair.
• Familiarity with NEC standards and regulations.
• Experience with residential and commercial electrical tasks and equipment.
• Strong skills in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
• Ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
• Problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.
• 4 year certificate, journeyman license, or equivalent field experience.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team leadership.

• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the electrical team on-site.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, or industrial settings.
• Ensure all work complies with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local regulations.
• Conduct inspections of electrical installations to ensure safety and functionality.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and logic controllers.
• Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project requirements.
• Mentor junior electricians and provide training on best practices in electrical work.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople during renovation projects to ensure seamless integration of electrical systems.
