  • Full UK Electrical Qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation).
  • In-depth knowledge of domestic electrical systems, wiring, and safety regulations.

  • Additional certifications in retrofit, energy efficiency, or health and safety are desirable but not essential.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE – LEAD ELECTRICIAN :

We’re looking for a driven, detail-focused Lead Electrician to take the lead on electrical installations for our retrofit and energy efficiency projects. You’ll guide on-site teams, solve problems on the spot, and make sure every installation is safe, high-quality, and fully compliant with electrical regulations and PAS 2035. If you thrive in fast-paced projects and want to help create warmer, greener homes, we want to hear from you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage on-site electrical installation teams, ensuring safe and efficient work.
  • Install, test, and maintain domestic energy efficiency measures, including heating systems, wiring, and associated electrical components.
  • Ensure all work complies with PAS 2035, building regulations, and REFYT quality standards.
  • Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and quality checks.
  • Coordinate with project managers, retrofit coordinators, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Mentor and support junior electricians, promoting best practices and safety standards.
  • Maintain accurate records, certification, and compliance documentation.
