Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a reliable and skilled Mobile Working Electrical Supervisor to join a leading building maintenance provider. This permanent role is perfect for an experienced electrician or supervisor looking to take the next step in their career while working across a variety of sites.
You will support and supervise a team of electricians while carrying out electrical works across diverse buildings, including universities, social housing, council buildings, offices, and leisure accommodation.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Proven technical expertise in both domestic and commercial electrical works.
  • Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and support a team.
  • Professional communication skills, able to liaise with customers and colleagues clearly.
  • Practical and proactive approach to health and safety.
  • Over 3 years’ experience in building maintenance, with 2 years supervisory experience preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (essential)
  • C&G 2391 or equivalent in Inspecting & Testing (essential)
  • 18th Edition (essential)
  • AM2 qualification (essential)
  • CSCS card (advantageous)
  • Full current driving licence
  • Enhanced DBS check and SC Clearance required
Responsibilities
  • Electrical testing, inspection, reactive repairs, fault finding, and rewiring.
  • Electrical installations in kitchens, bathrooms, and commercial heating systems.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with IEE Wiring Regulations and British Standards.
  • Complete and validate all electrical certification (via NICEIC).
  • Supervise electricians to ensure safe working, use of safe isolation procedures, and proper equipment maintenance.
  • Maintain high standards of work quality across all projects.
  • Respond quickly to emergency callouts and participate in the on-call rota (Out of Hours).
  • Ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery of work and accurate record keeping.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to colleagues.
  • Support other trades in delivering a safe and professional maintenance service.
