Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead ELV Engineer to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As the Lead ELV Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems for various projects in the region. Lead and manage ELV engineering teams, ensuring efficient project execution and delivery Develop and review ELV system designs, including security, telecommunications, and building automation systems Coordinate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements and provide innovative ELV solutions Oversee the preparation of technical specifications, drawings, and other project documentation Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful completion of ELV installations Conduct quality assurance checks and ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards Stay updated on the latest ELV technologies and industry trends to implement cutting-edge solutions Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure seamless integration of ELV systems with overall building infrastructure Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in ELV engineering, with a proven track record in project management and team leadership Extensive knowledge of Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems, including security, telecommunications, and building automation Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software for creating and reviewing technical drawings Strong understanding of Building Management Systems (BMS) and their integration with ELV systems Expertise in IT and networking protocols relevant to ELV systems In-depth knowledge of safety and security systems used in commercial and residential buildings Experience with smart building technologies and their implementation Familiarity with telecommunications and data systems in large-scale projects Professional certifications in ELV systems (e.g., BICSI, RCDD) are highly desirable Excellent project management skills, including budget control and resource allocation Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to address complex technical challenges Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously Business Line: Transportation Type of contract: Permanent contract Service Line: Structures Region: Middle East and South Asia Job Family: Engineering Management Profession: Technical Team Lead
