Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 5+ years of direct experience with Microsoft Exchange and engineering a Microsoft Exchange environment
  • 5+ years of experience with Active Directory and EntraID
  • 5+ years of PowerShell knowledge

Desired Qualifications:

  • Large complex system integration experience (Exchange Hybrid), ideally candidate has experience in Financial Institutions with user’s basis over 50K+ users
  • 3+ years knowledge of MS graph API and OAUTH authentications
  • Understanding of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
  • Understanding of the M365 eco-system
  • Strong understanding of LDAP and creating filters for LDAP

Responsibilities

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Email Engineer to join our Infrastructure Engineering team, supporting the design, implementation, and maintenance of enterprise messaging solutions. This role is critical in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our Exchange environment, including hybrid configurations with Microsoft 365. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Exchange Server architecture, PowerShell scripting, and email security protocols, along with a strong understanding of compliance and operational best practices. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver resilient messaging services that support business continuity and enhance user experience across the organization.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead complex initiatives to develop infrastructure to provide solutions for business applications
  • Participate in various projects intended to continually improve or upgrade the services we support, like Exchange, SMTP Email and others communication related products
  • Review and analyze high impact outages to ensure the proper processes and procedures are in place to avoid problems in the future
  • Design, build, deploy and maintain services we provide through collaborative efforts with the team and third party vendors
  • Design, script, test, debug and document using Agile practices
  • Make decisions in technical designs, implementation plans and identify project risks requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
  • Interact with customer and vendor
