BASE QUALIFICATIONS

• You have at least 3-5 years of work experience in Automation Engineering, preferably in the robotics field with first leadership experience.
• You have an academical background in the area of software engineering, mechatronics or robotics
• You are experienced in creating software architecture in the field of embedded systems
• You are experienced in robotics path planning & optimization as well as in simulation
• You are experience in PLC programming or similar automation software systems
• experienced with control of complex industrial automation cells
• You are passionate about hardware-related programming
• You are experienced in object oriented programming preferably Java
• Experience with open control and robotics frameworks (like ROS) is a plus
• You are a fast ‘out of the box’ thinker and a much faster get-things-done person
• You have a hands-on character and good communication skills through all levels
• You want to work in a high pace environment and be fully responsible to build and optimise technical systems and processes

As a Lead Robotics & Automation Engineer at Circus, you will play a crucial role in the further development of our advanced Kitchen Robotics & Automation technology. Your expertise will be essential in developing innovative solutions that enable the kitchen chef robot to prepare dishes with precision and efficiency. You are creating a sustainable and modular architecture, connecting the language of automation, robotics and culinary.
