JOB DESCRIPTION

• You lead the civil engineering scope for renewable gas (RG) projects within the EPC civil works package in close cooperation with the Customer and Kanadevia Inova Project Management
• You take ownership during civil tender management, civil procurement phase and civil execution stage for the management of design and construction packages such as civil, structural & architectural design, civil works, building fit-out works, interface coordination with mechanical, electrical and process elements etc.
• You coordinate subcontracted civil designers (architect, civil & structural designer, geotechnical consultant and other involved specialists) and the related interfaces to internal KVI engineering trades, civil construction companies, clients and authorities.
• You participate on the preparation of subcontractor’s contractual, technical and commercial conditions of subcontracts and provide support during negotiation of contracts with subcontractors
• You report to project management and operations to facilitate civil engineering construction progress and support claim management
• You are willing to travel up to 20% of your time

QUALIFICATIONS

• You are an experienced civil or structural engineer with initial project management experience and 5+ years’ track record as civil / structural design engineer within EPC business or large civil construction projects, preferably being involved in the execution of industrial plants
• You have solid knowledge of international codes and standards within the civil design & construction industry
• You have solid knowledge in structural design software and 3D modelling applications (BIM collaboration tools, Autodesk Revit, CAD and alike)
• You have strong communication and negotiation skills
• You are an assertive, and decisive personality, who enjoys working with remote teams
• You are fluent in English, any other European language is a plus
