Job Description Summary Ready to take the LEAP to GE Aerospace? Are you an experienced mechanical design engineer ready to work on the fastest growing engine in aviation history? The LEAP engine is a culmination of cutting-edge technology, world-class reliability and unparalleled performance, and is the engine of choice to power the Airbus A320neo, the Boeing 737 MAX, and the COMAC C919. Business targets for 2024 and 2025 cost out activities on the Leap product line is very challenging at greater than $600M. Developing and demonstrating cost out as a process is a big focus the next several years with high leadership visibility. On this team, you will own design engineering cost projects on specific components or systems on the Leap engine. Members of this team will also work very closely with our Supply Chain customer going to shops and sources for relationship building and project implementation. You will act in the capacity of an individual contributor. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects adhering to business standard and product requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for all products. Develop in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline. Understand key business drivers to accomplish own work. Use technical skills and analytic thinking required to solve problems. May use multiple internal sources outside of own team to arrive at decisions. A job at this level is likely to be an individual contributor with proven interpersonal skills or an early people leader who provides informal guidance to new team members. Required Qualifications This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component. Bachelor's degree. English.
