Job Description Join the Stanly Ranch team as our Lead Engineer where you will be responsible for the day-to-day engineering needs of the hotel property. Handle day-to-day guidance of the engineering staff and report any issues to the Director of Engineering (DOE). Supervise, train, and inspect the performance of Engineering staff ensuring that all procedures are completed to the hotel's standards. Participate in the preventive maintenance program of all-building equipment and rooms. Work closely with the DOE & Chief Engineer in scheduling work and setting priorities. Make decisions in the absence of Chief Engineer or DOE and act as the backup for calls when there are emergencies. Assist in guiding team members in their roles and follow up with Chief Engineer/DOE with feedback on performance. Demonstrate ENRICH values in all interactions with team members, guests and vendors. Troubleshoot and repair all hotel systems including all H.V.A.C&R, electrical equipment & motors, laundry equipment, kitchen equipment, water and wastewater, carpentry, tile, plumbing, painting and minor automotive repairs. Maintain complete knowledge of the hotel fire system, water system, sewage system, and irrigation system. Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner in accordance with Auberge and Stanly Ranch standards. Respond to all emergency or life threatening situations Enforce & follow established safety procedures. Log and communicate all essential information in Engineering logs The starting range for this position is $34.00/hour. This is the pay rate for this position that Stanly Ranch reasonably expects to pay. Decisions regarding individual salaries will be based on a number of factors, such as experience and education. Qualifications Minimum of 3-4 year experience as an Engineer / Maintenance Technician, preferably within a hotel or property management environment High school diploma or equivalent, echnical school desired Must be able to operate all Hotel systems and associated equipment Must be familiar with associated vendors and able to identify replacement parts, materials, and necessary tools Ability to take action and make decisions whenever necessary as directed by the DOE or Chief Engineer. Ability to read and follow technical instructions on assembly of mechanical equipment and furniture as well as follow directions on warning labels Ability to communicate in English with guests, co-workers, and management Valid driver’s license and clean motor vehicle record Additional Information Auberge Collection is a portfolio of extraordinary hotels, resorts, residences, and private clubs.
