Description
You will be part of the Mechanical Validation team in Bangalore. This team runs with an objective to capture all the failures on a product before launch Roles & Responsibilities: Responsible for the complete Vehicle, Product (ePack, ePump, ePort and BMS) and Integration testing with a special focus on mechanical aspects. DVP creation and sign off, while ensuring the robustness of the DVP Bringing road to lab Data collection and analysis at vehicle and component level. Analysing the CAN data and other data that are being collected on Exponent Products as a part of validation/ customer usage. Develop analysis methods to make sense of the voluminous data. Creation of accelerated test cycles based on the actual customer usage in the field Development of test fixtures to test and simulate the customer usage Making of dashboards and development of metrics that helps in decoding customer usage Representation of validation related activities in CFTs (Squad meetings) Manage a team of engineers to ensure that the team goals are met Development of test standards and adherence to IATF16949 Drive root cause analysis of the various issues that are identified as part of validation. Field failure simulation of modes that are missed in validation. The ideal candidate requires: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with 7-10 years of experience Experience in Instrumentation and Data analysis is a must Strong knowledge of testing processes and vehicle understanding and the different components of a vehicle is needed Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with suppliers and cross-functional teams. Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
