Description Discover your exciting role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and developing piping systems and plant layouts for a variety of industrial projects. This individual will be responsible for ensuring that designs meet project requirements, are cost-effective, and comply with industry standards and regulations. Explore your tasks and responsibilities Design and develop piping systems and plant layouts using 3D modeling software. Ensure designs comply with industry standards and regulations, including ASME, API, and ASTM. Develop and review design drawings, specifications, and material requirements. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met. Provide technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and designers. Conduct site visits to assess design feasibility and address construction issues. Participate in project meetings, providing technical input and expertise. Show your expertise Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field. Minimum of 8 years of experience in piping and systems design, preferably in an industrial environment. Good knowledge of ASME, API and ASTM standards and regulations. Experience with 3D modelling software, such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Ability to guide and mentor junior engineers and designers. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
