The Impact You'll Make As a Power Electronics Engineer at Danfoss Drives, you play a key role in shaping the future of energy-efficient technologies. Your work directly contributes to the design and development of advanced power converters and motor systems that improve product performance and reliability. By testing and refining these systems, you help ensure that Danfoss delivers high-quality, sustainable solutions to customers around the world. Collaborating with a skilled and agile team, you support innovation from concept to final product — making a meaningful impact on the company’s growth, customer satisfaction, and commitment to a greener future.What You’ll Be Doing   Design, develop, and test on different sections of a drive like switch-mode power supplies, inverters, gate drives, rectifiers, DC link, and related systems. Work across the full development cycle – from schematics to ECAD, lab testing, and production handover. Support cost estimation, FMEA, and other development processes. Simulation activity includes both circuit and physics-based simulation. Contribute to EMC evaluations and compliance efforts (expert-level experience not required). What We're Looking For   Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Power Electronics and Drives or a related field, with 8 – 10 years of professional experience.  Experience with switch-mode power supplies, inverters, DC link, and gate drive circuitry is preferred. Hands-on experience in simulation tools like MATLAB, pSPICE, PSIM, Ansys, etc are added advantages. Familiarity with EMC principles and testing is a plus. Ability to take designs from concept to production, including schematic capture and layout Ability to lead the team technically. Strong problem-solving skills, eagerness to learn, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks across different phases of development.
